Lima, February 03, 2017. PERUMIN 33 Mining Convention, an event that has turn Peru into a world mining hub, is preparing everything to perform one of its seven meetings of analysis and debate: the International Meeting, a platform that will be the perfect showcase for the main countries tied to mining industry, interested in sharing their progress and experience in the mining world. In this interview, the chair of the International Meeting, Ms. Isabel Arias, gives us details of this transcendental meeting, PERUMIN 33 Mining Convention, where well-known lecturers will participate.

CALL FOR TECHNICAL PAPERS DATE EXTENSION PERUMIN 33 MINING CONVENTION



Selected papers will be presented during the Technology and Innovation Meeting and will compete for the National Mining Award.

The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), organizer of PERUMIN 33 Mining Convention, extended the due date to present technical and research papers on topics related to the mining industry in our country until February 20, 2017.

The logistical professional is on the road towards becoming an important stakeholder in the decision-making process of any mining company. Therefore, he is expected to have a higher strategical performance within the organization and with their suppliers. The Logistics Meeting of PERUMIN 33 will address this and other topics, so we spoke with its Chairman, Jorge Pancorvo Corcuera.

This International Event will gather more than 100 000 visitors from more than 50 countries in the World

The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), organizer of PERUMIN 33 Mining Convention, continues leasing stands for the Mining Technological Fair (EXTEMIN) that will gather the main mining suppliers worldwide at the Universidad Nacional de San Agustín, Arequipa

As well as in prior editions, PERUMIN Mining Convention estimates to exceed 100 000 visitors and the 14 000 Conventionists in average, with the participation of students, professionals, executive directors and mining entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries in the World.

In addition, according to the organizers, preferential fees will be offered only until January 31, 2017.

EXTEMIN WILL GATHER THE MAIN MINING COMPANIES AND SUPPLIERS OF THE WORLD



The Mining Technological Fair will have more than 1600 stands and international delegations.

The main technological developments in the mining sector will be showcased in EXTEMIN, such as machinery, equipment and ULTIMA GENERACION products; likewise, innovative services will be offered designed to attain a higher productivity, with operative safety and protecting the environment

In this edition, more than 800 national and international companies will participate, from more than 70 industrial and commercial sectors. They will be distributed in 1626 stands. This represents an increase of 12% in comparison to the number of the prior edition (1451). Such number consolidates EXTEMIN as one of the biggest technological platforms in the region.

These companies will have a direct contact with many governmental delegations, investors and commercial representatives worldwide..

PERUMIN - Mining Convention is the most important mining event in the region. Each edition gathers more than 100 000 visitors from different parts of the world and more than 800 exhibitor companies in its technological Fair EXTEMIN.

In this sense, it is an excellent showcase for many brands of supplying and mining companies, thanks to its prestige, importance and continuous presence the international media.

From its beginning, the Technology and Innovation Meeting has been the core of PERUMIN Mining Convention, due to its important innovative and technological contributions for the national mining sector.
In this exchange and opportunity of high-level knowledge, national and foreign experts present the latest scientific studies and technological progress applied to different mining areas of knowledge.
In this interview, Miguel Cardozo, chairman of said meeting, gives us some contributions about the preparatory process of this edition, that will be the framework to deliver the National Mining Award, highest honor granted by the sector.

What are the novelties of this new edition of the Technology and Innovation Meeting?

This meeting aims at generating a suitable balance between the papers participating to be included in the meeting - after being qualified by experts - and the invite key lecturers.
We have decided that together with oral presentations of papers at the conference rooms, an exclusive posters area will be allocated to give an opportunity to a larger number of professionals to perfect their research and to present their progress during the days of the event.
